Man,the day i discovered Sturmpercht, i thought they're a fun alpine take on Death in June but no. They're far more than that and their text&sounddesign is genius at times. Try "wir rufen deine Wölfe" next time you go cold turkey from a heroin binge and somehow you manage to transform all that pain, anger, desperation and sickness into something enjoyable. Thats the power of Sturmpercht, raw and full of pathos Tleilaxu
Excellent medieval folk, IGR, & those with ears to hear. I love the sense of mysticism and deep, introspective ponder this album conveys, & the honest down-to-earth folky lyrics. Simply wonderful yet soulfully rich. Highlights for me are tracks 2, 5, 6, & 12. IGR truly capture what I feel is an authentic sense of a medieval bard at a woodland rill pondering the mysteries of life. Highly recommended. 8.5+/10. Alrihkh

This is a melancholic lullaby for orphans who dwell in the pale and tepid dream world. Instatly makes your thoughts float and gently caresses your soul with cold and brittle satin gloves. Lightly breaks something in stonewalls of my psychological defences. 𝙅𝙤𝙚 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙡𝙡
